Business Description:Manthan Semiconductors aspires to be the first IC company in India focused on innovations for the local market and "India" like markets. The company will be develop in 3 phases.
The first phase will be to attract, assemble the top class talent in the semiconductor industry, nurture innovation and exploration, provide sustainability to the exploration phase. The position we take in the market is of a "high end" ASIC design service provider that can take a design from concept to silicon. This phase will last for 3 years. The first phase will generate atleast 2 IC prototypes which will showcase industryworthy innovations. Work is ongoing here mainly in the fields of system connectivity and wireless sensor networks.
The second phase will focus on productisation of the prototypes and implementing the roadmaps for the streams chosen. This phase will last 3 years.
The third phase will focus on expanding the portfolio vertically and horizontally to encompass different applications that we can add value to.
